A Fat Bag

I crocheted a bag with the yarn I dyed using turmeric spice.
I think this is the one I want to do.
I mean, I want to make something painstakeingly piece by piece from the beginning.
It requires time and effort, but it gives more uniqueness and distinctiveness.

I got this yarn at a bargain price at a charity shop!
I had thought to dye this yarn from the beginning because it was boring white.
When one door shuts another opens.
This is a sort of my grandmother's way.
She created many wonderful things from leftovers and junk boxes.

I dyed the cotton yarn using turmeric spice and washing soda.
It gives uneven yellow and orange.
Allocation? By guess.

I wanted to make a fat bag and googled a free pattern of it. I referenced Bend Beanies's blog. It shows how to make it step by step. It's easy to understand. The making process is simple and looks more effective than the effort. I attached a liner as well. I don't have a sewing machine at the moment, but it doesn't require a sewing machine. That's why I could make it fast. I used ring handles instead of making. I am very satisfied with it.

Mat

This yarn is a bit heavy, so I thought a mat is ideal.
I used 2 boodles' yarns. It's all half treble crochet.
