My First Spinning Yarn

I made a square using my first yarn I spun.

Colours were random, because we tried using several kinds of fibers as an experimentation.

Some are too much twisted, some are too much thin,

and some wasn't enough carding process.

But I am very proud of what I've done.

My first Dyeing Yarn

 

I wanted to make a bit more light brown.

Oops, I made a mistake of blending of colours.

Anyway, it's my first dyeing.

I am very satisfied with this.

This yarn was a leftover of a shop.

It was a bargain price, but only one ball was left.

What I used was 'Schachenmayr smc Aventica Elegance (210m)'.

It contains lame, looks gorgeous.

I had looked for a pattern for this, and I finally found it.

Crochet Remembrance Poppy Project

We launched poppy project for the Remembrance Day (Nov).

 

WHAT I USED (UK crochet term);

     Red (approx. 3m long, Green and Orange Yarns (Double Knit each), bottun, pin

 

Use 3.5 mm hook. With 2 strands of red yarn together;

ROUND1;

     make 2 ch (or magic loop), make 5 dc in the 1st ch around, join with ss [5dc].

ROUND2;

     ch1, 2dc in each st [10dc].

ROUND3;

     ch3, 1tr into the st at the base of ch, 2tre into the next st (4 times), 1tr into the next st, ch3, ss into the same st.
     make ch3, 2tre into the next st (4 times), 3ch, ss into the next st.

LEAF; with green yarn, make 20ch.

TO FINISH; Sew all together.
